Safeguarding

Safeguarding is a priority at St Silas

We recognise the need to provide a safe and caring environment for children, young people and adults at risk. We acknowledge that children, young people and adults at risk can be the victims of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, and neglect.

We are committed to creating safer places by following statutory guidelines on good working practice. All staff and volunteers working with children have undergone PVG checks by Disclosure Scotland and undertake training in Safeguarding.
