Sunday Services

We extend a warm welcome to everyone at our Sunday worship services

On any given Sunday you can find people visiting for the first time, others who have been attending for many years, and lots who still feel fairly new to Glasgow or to the church family. People from our church family of all ages come together on Sundays, and we are thrilled by how many different nationalities are represented.

We have a time of encouragement and worship together, where we hear God’s word preached, praise Him and pray to Him. We meet informally over refreshments after the service to catch up and do life together.

Sunday Services

09:30 & 11:30am services;
(11:30am live streamed)

— with age-specific children and youth clubs

Our 09:30am & 11:30am morning church services brings together people from all ages and stages of life. We start our time of worship altogether, and then there are dedicated children’s clubs with age-specific teaching streams running at the same time as our main adult teaching service. We also have a creche for under 3s. All of our volunteers and Sunday club leaders are PVG cleared in line with our safeguarding policy, and our children and youth enjoy fun-packed sessions where they can experience and explore the Christian faith for themselves, and know they are valued. Occasionally we take a break from these groups so that we can do church together in an all-age format that is accessible for everyone.

The services lasts up to about an hour and a half, with music led by one of our bands with a mix of contemporary worship songs and hymns that have stood the test of time. Tea and coffee are served between the two morning services. Children receive a snack and a drink in clubs. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) on the 4th Sunday of the month in the mornings.

6:00pm service

— informal, relaxed evening service

The 6:00pm church service is an informal, relaxed evening service that is great for visitors or for someone trying church for the first time. We meet beforehand for tea and coffee from 5:45pm, and the service usually lasts about an hour.

The first Sunday of the month is our #trychurch service. While we strive to ensure that all of our Sunday services are accessible for visitors and welcoming for those still ‘just looking’, our #trychurch service is especially guest friendly. If you have not been to church before, we do hope you will come along and #trychurch at one of these services – though you are very welcome on any Sunday.

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper, or ‘Holy Communion’, on the 2nd Sunday of the month in the evenings.

4:00pm monthly service

— Book of Common Prayer service

On the first Sunday of the month, we hold a 4:00pm Book of Common Prayer service. This is a traditional Anglican service, that is more reflective, and uses the traditional Service of Morning Prayer from the 1662 Church of England Book of Common Prayer.

This service is also broadcast on zoom. For a zoom link to join the service, please contact the church office.

Our Sunday church services are welcoming and accessible. Find the one for you, we look forward to seeing you.
