Morning Service

When     11am, every Sunday morning

Where   St Silas Church

Who     All are welcome

We gather each Sunday morning to encourage each other and to listen to God, with teaching, fellowship, worship and prayer.

At St Silas we have a variety of worship services. We believe that our Anglican heritage is important and make use of traditional liturgies especially in our communion services whilst, at the same time, seeking to constantly discover more about how we can worship as the body of Christ in new ways.

Music plays an important part in our services and is led by a variety of teams of gifted musicians.

Children of all ages are welcome at our Sunday morning services, please see For Children

Service styles

Morning Worship - 11am, 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month

An informal, welcoming time of worship, including teaching, singing, prayer and bible reading. We begin the service all together, and children and young people usually leave after half an hour for age-specific groups run by a committed team of leaders.

Holy Communion - 11am, 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month

Our Morning Worship service on these Sundays includes the celebration of the Lord's Supper. All who trust and follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are welcome to receive the bread and wine at St Silas. If, for any reason, you don't feel able to receive communion, you are welcome to come forward for a prayer of blessing. In addition, our prayer ministry team is available at these services to pray with you confidentially.

Whatever your background or beliefs, you are warmly invited to join us.
