when we meet
St Silas offers a variety of worship services on a Sunday. We believe that our Anglican heritage is important and make use of traditional liturgies especially in our communion services whilst, at the same time, seeking to constantly discover more about how we can worship as the body of Christ in new ways. Music plays an important part in our services and is led by a variety of teams of gifted musicians.

service descriptions
Morning Services (11am)
Together is the name of our morning service on the first Sunday of the month. It is a time, place and environment where the whole church family can gather ‘together' to celebrate God's love.
Holy Communion - a celebration using liturgy, hymns and songs. Families drop their children off at the new hall entrance, and adults go to the church building for sung worship and learning. Adults and children then meet together for communion from 11.45am. All who follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are welcome to receive the bread and wine. If, for whatever reason, you don't feel able to receive communion, you are welcome to come forward for a prayer of blessing. In addition, our prayer team is available at these services to pray with you confidentially.
Morning Praise - a flexible and relaxed time of worship and teaching.
Evening Services (6:30pm)
Holy Communion - a celebration using liturgy, hymns and songs. All who follow Jesus Chist as Lord and Saviour are welcome to receive the bread and wine.
Evening Praise - a flexible and relaxed time of worship and teaching.
