How to find us

together

 

Together is the name of our Sunday morning service. It is a time, place and environment where the whole church family can gather ‘together’ to celebrate God’s love. We aim for it to be:
  • a time where we can worship together, serve one another and share our gifts as we explore how to apply God’s word to our lives in the week ahead - no matter what stage of life or faith we are in
  • a place to connect with God and others of all ages, deepening our relationship with God and with one another, with opportunities to engage, reflect and respond in a variety of ways
  • a conversational environment where we can explore faith and experience community together, in a fun, friendly and informal way
 

 

 

During January and February we will be looking at the following topics:

 
  • Jan 3rd – Rest
  • Jan 10th – Kingdom Footprint - we are God's Kingdom Agents
  • Jan 17th – Kingdom Footprint - on the earth
  • Jan 24th – Kingdom Footprint - on us
  • Jan 31st – Vision: Proverbs 29:18
  • Feb 7th – Vision: Standing firm and Striving for the gospel
  • Feb 14th – Vision: inspired and Innovative
  • Feb 21st – Vision: Loving and Listening
  • Feb 28th - Vision: Anglican and Applying the Word in the power of the Spirit.

 

As we gather together, we begin our time with refreshments and chat at 10.45am as we believe that this is an important part of being together. We use a variety of easy to recognise symbols to help everyone follow the liturgical pattern of our time together, including our younger members. Our time together lasts for approximately an hour, and we incorporate different activities to help everyone join in worship, learning and caring for one another, with time to talk and time to listen - including a time when we can quietly reflect on what God is saying to us. Everyone is invited to participate as they feel comfortable, so whether you are a regular member of our church family or someone who does not usually spend time in church on Sundays, we hope you will feel very welcome.

 

Getting involved:

We have several teams who work hard to facilitate our time together, covering 4 weeks at any time in a 3-month block. Areas where you can get involved are: hosting and hospitality; technical aspects like music and visuals and setting up the environment; art and creative elements; prayer; production of weekly information and take home elements of our time together.
