St Silas is committed to the mission field on our doorstep.
Glasgow City Mission:
One of the strongest examples of this is Glasgow City Mission, which works with the homeless and other disadvantaged people. Several of the GCM staff worship with us and many people volunteer with them during the week. There are always lots of opportunities to volunteer your help with Glasgow City Mission.
Community Events:
St Silas is also involved in the local community surrounding the church in a number of ways. We visit homes in the area with invitations and information about what’s on at St Silas’ at least twice a year (Christmas and Easter) and participate in local events such as the West End Festival street party. There is also a pre-school group known as Tots'n'Co.
Student Work:
